A LITTLE ABOUT MARIO at the rescue:
Mario is a super sweet pup who has been at the rescue for far too long. It has been challenging to find him a home because while he is sweet, he is skittish with humans. His litter in general were much more timid than we have had in the past, Mario being the most timid of all. He has always absolutely adored other dogs and running around with the pack, but it is very difficult for him to trust humans and often runs if anyone comes near…except during meal time, so he is super food motivated and that can help to bring him out of his shell!
He is currently being fostered where we have learned more about him…He was nervous the first few days, but quickly warmed up to his foster’s other dogs who he follows everywhere. It has become clear, that while Mario loves other dogs, he needs a patient new family who will take the time to earn his trust. Mario would be a super easy addition to any pack- we think it is a must that he is in a home with other dogs so he can follow their lead.
He is vaccinated and neutered and ready to find his furever home.
